Leaving a valuable contribution for people and the environment.
For an unburdened future.

Legacies and bequests

As a non-governmental organization, we provide help for self-help in regions affected by military and industrial disasters. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of people in these disaster areas and at the same time to advocate for a sustainable approach to our planet.

Do you want to leave something behind that will have an impact even after your lifetime? Do you care about improving the lives of people who have suffered for years from the aftermath of man-made disasters? Did you know that in addition to your loved ones and dependents, you can also include a nonprofit organization like Green Cross in your will?

Through an inheritance or a legacy in favor of Green Cross Switzerland, you help us to continue our tasks and projects in the long term. The more funds we have available for this purpose, the more targeted and sustainable measures we can take by acting responsibly and carefully. In the following we provide you with some services free of charge in cooperation with our partner DeinAdieu.

Revised inheritance law since January 1, 2023

Did you know that the revised inheritance law that came into force in Switzerland on January 1, 2023 allows you to freely dispose of a larger part of your estate (now over 50%)?

While the legal succession remains, the compulsory portions are reduced to a total of 50% of the estate and the compulsory portion of the parents is completely eliminated.

If you wish to take advantage of these new possibilities of inheritance law, it is necessary that you draw up a will.

If you wish, you can take advantage of a free legal consultation with an inheritance law specialist from our partner at DeinAdieu. The initial consultation will include a review of your situation or will, as well as a recommendation for your estate plan:
